Client Services and Business Development Manager
This is a rewarding and pivotal role within a small, friendly creative services agency in Oxfordshire. As Client Services and Business Development Manager, you'll be responsible for building our business through gaining new customers and accounts, and also managing existing client accounts.
The role will involve:
- Following up new business opportunities and setting up meetings.
- Responding to requests for proposals.
- Keeping in touch with clients to check the status of pitches and also general client follow ups.
- Planning and preparing proposals and face-to-face presentations.
- Establishing and maintaining good client relationships.
- Overseeing the development of marketing and presentation literature.
- Market research and keeping up-to-date with new developments in the creative services industry.
- Formulation of a business development strategy in consultation with the Managing Director – to include promotion of the agency through a variety of channels.
- Regular reporting to the Managing Director.
Skills Required:
- Good business sense.
- To enjoy networking and meeting new people – face to face and using social networking websites.
- Excellent communications skills, both written and verbal.
- Self-motivated.
- Good organisational and time-management skills.
- A positive attitude.
- Good negotiation skills and persuasiveness.
- Confidence presenting to large groups of people.
- Experience of the creative services industry and particularly live events would be preferred.
Hours:
The role will be full-time office based, 9am – 6pm Monday to Thursday, and 9am – 5pm on Friday. Your job also involves travelling to visit clients and attending corporate entertainment events.
Location:
The office is based in Tubney, 6 miles West of Oxford.
Salary:
Negotiable dependent on experience.
